It’s easy to book a spot. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please let us know if you will be accompanied by a child (5 to 12 years of age) and state the age.
You’ll receive a Programme Detail, Confirmation and Reminder via WhatsApp once we have received your full name and your mobile contact number (for giving you any tour updates).
Our tip-based walks are limited to 15 people per one tourist guide.

Walk ends at 11.30 a.m. (at Independence Square).

Our walking tours are operated on a tip-the-guide-basis.
On average, people have been tipping our tourist guides between RM40 and RM60 per person.
Our guides are always motivated to do their best to deliver a top-quality tour.
If you enjoyed the tourist guide’s stories and acknowledge the time and effort he or she has put into your tour, you can show your generous appreciation when tipping at the end of your walk.
We encourage you to use public transport. If you prefer to drive, please check with the hotel for information about the nearest parking spaces, and the cost.
Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, Chinatown
You can reach the hotel by taxi, Grab (e-hailing), or train (KL Monorail or MRT).
If you take the KL Monorail, please get off at the Maharajalela station and walk to the hotel (about 7 minutes).
If you take the MRT, please get off at the Pasar Seni station and walk to the hotel (about 7 minutes).

If you take the LRT, please get off at the Masjid Jamek station and walk to hotel (about 5 minutes).
If you take the MRT, please get off at the Pasar Seni station and walk to the hotel (about 10 minutes).
Please meet your tourist guide at the hotel 30 minutes before your walk is due to start.
It’s easy to spot our tourist guides. He or she will be wearing long khaki trousers, a white top, and a khaki vest and will be wearing a name tag. Photos of the guides are on our website.
For the tip-based walks, the maximum group size is 15 people for one tourist guide. We welcome children but they must be accompanied by an adult. * These walks are not suitable for people using a wheelchair or pushing a pram.
No, unfortunately not.
We allow 4 people for one reservation made via Eventbrite, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, or email.
If you are in a larger group, or if you would like a private walk for yourself or a group, we will email you a quote for the price of a private guided tour.

Please wear suitable walking shoes (not open-toed footwear).
Bring drinking water, sunglasses, a hat, sun cream, an umbrella, and a disposable poncho.
We recommend you wear a face mask

Please be prepared for varying types of weather as conditions can change very quickly in Kuala Lumpur.
Every confirmed participant who goes on one of our walks is required to sign a Disclaimer Form.
A printed Disclaimer Form will be handed to you by a tourist guide on duty on the day of your walk.
Yes, we will continue the walk as long as it is not a downpour or stormy. Our tourist guide will be at the starting point. We may delay the walk to 20 minutes or more to allow rain to subside.
If you see that it is raining two hours before your walk and you don’t want to get wet, please inform our Administrator via WhatsApp (+60 19 699 2668).
If it’s raining, the Administrator or tourist guide on duty will decide whether the walk should continue, and will advise you via WhatsApp. If it does start to rain during the walk, we will seek shelter until the rain stops and only continue with the walk if all the participants agree.
Yes, please do.
Yes, we allow photography, but this must not be to a degree that it disrupts the walk.
No, we do NOT allow audio or video recording or note-taking during the walk. This is to protect our intellectual copyright. Also, our guides appreciate it when participants listen attentively.
The organisers reserve the right to cancel a scheduled walk because of unforeseen circumstance.
Prior to cancellation, all confirmed participants are notified individually via WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or email. If participants wish, they can rebook for another date.
Please WhatsApp the Administrator if you will not be able to participate in the walk, if not the tourist guide will be waiting for you.
